The Basics

Oh, where to start?  There is so much garbage flying around in the press these days, that one needs to get a grip on the essence of the battle in Israel.  These articles and websites outline why Jerusalem and Israel are of the utmost importance to Jews around the world and why Israelis are so adamant about staying there, amidst a sea of enemies.

The most important thing you can do is to learn what lies are out there.  The best resource for this is to read "Myths and Facts Online".  When you're done with that, go to other websites that aim to disseminate the truth!  After you're done with those, continue onto these other sites...

Jerusalem, God's Holy City is about the importance of Jerusalem to the Jews, from the Christian perspective.

Masada2000 - this website has a great wealth of information and gives some little-known information about the history of Palestine/Israel and other information about the Palestinians - something every critic of the Israel-Palestinian conflict should know.

IRIS - this site gives alot of good information about the conflict and explains why Israel needs the security that it has.

My Friend Taki Has Gone Too Far is an excellent article written by Conrad Black, a prominent media figure in Canada and Britain, taking the media to task for anti-Israel press.

Concerning the Jews isn't really about the Middle East.  It is an essay by Mark Twain, which displays his disbelief of Jewish prominence and utter respect for Jews.  It's excellent!

Without Israel, Judaism is pointless is written by journalist Barbara Amiel, originally printed in the Jerusalem Post on February 23, 2001.

"Would this situation have existed?" is a short piece by David Elazar, an Israeli citizen.  He asks whether the current situation in Israel would have happened if the Arab leadership had taken several constructive steps, instead of choosing the path of war.
